1. How do I add a new transaction?
Tap the “+” button in the upper-right corner of the home screen, choose Income or Expense, enter the amount, category, date, and note, then tap Save.
2. What types of transactions are supported?
Daily Simple Ledger supports both income and expense records, such as salary, bonuses, dining, transportation, shopping, entertainment, and other everyday transactions.
3. Can I view statistics?
Yes. The app automatically summarizes total income, total expenses, and balance, and provides category statistics to help you understand where your spending goes.
4. How do I delete a record?
Swipe left on the corresponding record in the transaction list and tap Delete.
5. Do I need to sign in?
No. Daily Simple Ledger does not require registration or login and can be used immediately.
6. Where is my data stored?
Your bookkeeping data is stored locally on your device by default. Please keep your device secure and back up important data before changing devices or uninstalling the app.
7. Is an internet connection required?
Most core bookkeeping features work offline, so you can record and review data without an internet connection.
